I am a cognitive neuroscientist working at the intersection of psychology, linguistics, and neuroscience. My research focuses on individual differences in language skills and the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying this variation. I am particularly interested in understanding how and why language development varies in children with neurodevelopmental conditions: why do some children develop severe language difficulties while others do not? I currently work at the Donders Institute and Radboud University Medical Center as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellow, where I investigate the neural mechanisms underlying language development in autism using multimodal neuroimaging.
